Ryan Hutchison

A Fresh Face for Rancho Cucamonga’s City Council

About Ryan Hutchison

Ryan Hutchison is a fourth-generation resident of the Inland Empire. Ryan’s history in Rancho Cucamonga began with his first job working as a parking attendant at Quakes Stadium.  He bought his first home in Rancho Cucamonga and started his career here.

Ryan believes that the most important issues to our community are public safety, an innovative business climate, and responsible use of taxpayer dollars.  As an active member of the Rancho Cucamonga Rotary, the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail, Ryan has been working hard to make our community a better place in which to live, work, and play.

Rancho Cucamonga has made tremendous strides since incorporating. As our Councilman, Ryan would continue that work at City Hall.  Having worked in both the public and private sectors for over a decade, he has developed the skills and experience to solve today’s complex challenges. Ryan has the right combination of experience, commitment, and passion to lead our city to even greater heights.

On The Issues

Assure Public Safety

Violent crime has increased in our state since 2015, and a recent study has shown that theft is also increasing because of the misguided policies of Sacramento. I believe the most important responsibility of any government is to ensure the safety of its constituents. That is why I am committed to providing our public safety officers with the tools they need to keep us safe.

Grow Our Local Economy

California is an expensive place to live. I am committed to using my 14 years of experience in the private sector to attract good paying, middle class jobs to our community. I pledge to streamline the city’s permitting process and cut through red tape to ensure that starting or moving a business to Rancho Cucamonga is straightforward and transparent.

Protect Taxpayer Dollars

Taxpayer money is precious. We all pay taxes and fees expecting our government to provide necessary services to our community. Yet, too often it seems like our money is wasted on projects that drive up the public debt or provide no benefit to constituents. I am committed to stretching every dollar as far as possible to provide necessary government programs without raising taxes.

Finish Central Park

I attended the recent meetings regarding the re-vision of Central Park and participated in updating the master plan to finish our park. Now that the master plan is in place our city can move on completing the necessary environmental impact reports to finish the park. If elected to city council I pledge to see this process through and finally complete Central Park.
